Gwyneth Paltrow is in negotiations to star in `Glee`
The Oscar-winning actress is reportedly in talks to star as a potential love interest for teacher Will Schuester - played by Matthew Morrison - in the musical TV show.
According to E! Online, the part was written specifically for the `Iron Man` actress as she is a close friend of `Glee` creator Ryan Murphy.
If the exciting casting does come to fruition, Gwyneth will play the role of a substitute teacher in two episodes, and will step in to take over the glee club when Mr. Schuester falls ill.
However, Gwyneth`s character complicates Mr. Schuester`s relationship with quirky guidance counsellor Emma (Jayma Mays) when he starts to fall for her.
Gwyneth - who will have an all-singing, all-dancing role in the show - is not the only Oscar-winning star set to make a guest appearance in season two of the Fox series.
Javier Bardem recently revealed he is set to appear as a rock star who befriends Artie (Kevin McHale).
He said: "We`re going to rock the house. We`re going to do some heavy metal - Spanish heavy metal, which is the worst."
